What that means for you is that you can make an appointment and come to my working studio for an unhurried, hands-on demonstration. I have an Optimum with a Statler Stitcher and a Classic Plus for you to try. I’ll answer your questions and explain the options available. May 9, 2008 - Using Rulers and Templates with Jackie Herbert - 9:00 am to 11:30 am. Jackie has been quilting for herself and others for over 5 years and does fantastic things using rulers and templates. Bring any templates or rulers you already own for some hands-on practice with Jackie's guidance. The rulers and templates Jackie uses will be available for sale.
May 9, 2008 - Gammill Maintenance Class 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm with Devin Donovan of Hillbrook Quilting. This is a an in-depth hands-on maintenace class. You can bring your own machine head if youlike or just watch and take notes. You will gain a new level of confidence and understanding with your Gammill.

May 12 - 15, 2008 - SUGAR Conference, Kansas City, MO. The studio will be closed while I attend Creative Studio training classes to become a certified Creative Studio instructor. I have been a beta tester and have been using the software exclusively for months.

June 20, 2008 - Building on your longarm skills. Taught by Sue Whitaker an experienced and gifted longarmer. If you've had your machine for a while and are ready to take the next step this is the class for you.
June 21, 2008 - Using your longarm for Business. Taught by Sue Whitaker. If you would like to begin a longarm quilting business this is the class for you, whether you own a machine already or are still looking.
July 13 - 18, 2008 - Jamie Wallen Art Quilting - You've heard of Quilting Cruises, well we have something better! Join Jamie Wallen for 5 days of art quilting in a retreat setting and feed your artistic soul. You don't need a passport or formal clothes...matter of fact it is just the opposite!
